ATC Judge refuses to hear Imran Farooq murder case

KARACHI: Anti-Terrorism Court Judge Kausar Abbas Zaidai has refused to hear the Imran Farooq murder case here at today due to exchange of harsh sentences between defense counsel and judge.
As per details, the hearing of case continued in ATC while during the hearing, some harsh words were exchanged between defense counsel Mansoor Afridi and the Judge.
Defense Counsel has asked judge to provide copies of challan but ATC Judge said that copies of challan had been returned to FIA. When Defense Counsel asked judge that under which law he raised objection on challan, then Judge Kausar Abbas replied that he is not accountable before him.
ATC Judge went to his chamber saying that he could not hear the case and now he is sending this case to Islamabad High Court.
It is also worthy to mention here that challan had been rejected by ATC three days ago, raising objection on challan seventh time while bail plea of accused had also been rejected by the court.
