Former Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has hurriedly returned to London, reportedly carrying a significant message for his brother, Nawaz Sharif, the supreme leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), as per information from ARY News. After a month-long stay in London, where he engaged in meetings with Nawaz Sharif and other party members, Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Lahore on Tuesday. However, insider sources disclosed that he is departing for London today, bearing an important message for his sibling.
These sources also indicated that the former premier is scheduled to reach London on Thursday night, while Maryam Nawaz is set to land in the British capital on Thursday afternoon. Shehbaz Sharif had previously announced Nawaz Sharif's return to Pakistan on October 21, promising a grand welcome upon his arrival.
He expressed that his brother had been ousted from power through a conspiracy, and the alleged rigging in the 2018 general elections had adversely affected Pakistan's standing in the region.
While speaking to journalists in London, Shehbaz Sharif stated, "We held consultations with the senior leadership of the party and decided that the PML-N supremo will return to Pakistan in October and lead the election campaign." He also affirmed that his brother would return to Pakistan and face the law, emphasizing a unanimous consensus within the party regarding this matter
