Pakistan World Cup Squad finalized, 5 changes with some surprises

The announcement for the national squad for the World Cup will be made tomorrow. Pakistan Cricket Board's Chief Selector Inzamam-ul-Haq has completed consultations with Team Director Mickey Arthur and Head Coach Grant Bradburn.

PCB Chairman Zaka Ashraf has also given his final approval. There is a possibility of 4 to 5 changes in the squad for the Asia Cup.

It is also mentioned that discussions have taken place regarding Sarfraz Ahmed to strengthen the team's middle-order batting, and a fitness assessment has been conducted.

Consultations have been held for the inclusion of Zaman Khan and Hasan Ali in the team in place of Nasim Shah. Mastery spinner Abrar Ahmed and other spinners' performance in domestic cricket has also been considered.
