Arshad Sharif murder: Disappointing news in the brutal assassination case

Due to the absence of witnesses, the local court has halted proceedings in the Arshad Sharif murder case and transferred the case file to the record room.

In the previous hearing on Wednesday, Judicial Magistrate Abbas Shah noted that the court had received the investigation report under Section 512 of the Pakistan Penal Code on March 16 for this case. Despite summoning the witnesses on April 5 to provide their statements, none of them appeared, even though the prosecution had been given 15 opportunities to submit their statements.

Considering this situation, the court has decided to pause further proceedings and stated that the prosecution can file a new application when witnesses become available.
