17 killed as coal-laden truck topples over passenger van in Khairpur

KHAIRPUR: At least 17 people were killed and seven others injured in a road mishap in Khairpur on Monday.
The ill-fated incident took place near Shah Hussain village in Khairpur on Monday morning when a coal-laden truck overturned on a passenger van, killing 17 people on the spot and wounding seven others.
Rescue teams reached spot after the incident and shifted the bodies and injured people to local hospital.
The bodies of the deceased passengers could not be identified yet.
