MQM inclusion in Parliamentary Committee dispute solved 

ISLAMABAD: The dispute of MQM inclusion in Parliamentary Committee has been solved as united opposition decided to include MQM as member in parliamentary committee to prepare unanimous Terms of References to probe into Panama leaks.


As per details, Joint Opposition meeting was held here at today in Islamabad under the chairmanship of Opposition leader Khurshid Shah to resolve the matter of MQM inclusion in Parliamentary committee.


Aitzaz Ahsan, Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Tariq Ullah, Tariq Bashir while Sheikh Salah ud Din and Abdul Waseem from MQM side participated in the meeting.


Joint opposition members expressed their concerns over the parting ways of MQM from united opposition however after a long debate, MQM has been included in committee as member.


MQM member Barrister Saif has been included in committee after stepping down by QWP leader Aftab Sher Pao voluntarily and now Barrister Saif would represent MQM in committee to prepare TORs.


Speaking at the occasion, opposition leader said that speaker NA would be urged by united opposition to hold first meeting of committee on Monday.


Sources said that MQM expressed its reservation in the meeting under Khurshid Shah saying that MQM is third opposition party in Assembly but it is being ignored by joint opposition in committee.
