ECP again postpones local body election on reserve seats

KARACHI: Election Commission of Pakistan again has postponed local bodies election on reserved seats throughout the Sindh that was going to be held here at June 8.
As per details, polling for Mayor, Deputy Mayor, Chairman and Vice Chairman election on reserved seats was scheduled by Election Commission of Pakistan on June 8 but now election once again has been postponed by ECP over the verdict of Sindh High Court.
Election Commission argued that election on reserved seat has been postponed in the light of Sindh HC verdict so election on 448 reserved seats not possible to be held on June 8.

uple of days ago returning officers were directed by ECP to issue schedule of election on reserved seats till May 20 however, election on 448 reserved seats has been postponed by ECP due to stay order of Sindh HC.
