PMD makes forecast of Ramzan moon sighting in Pakistan

Ruet e Hilal Committee is scheduled to meet on Wednesday (March 22, 2023) for sighting the Ramazan moon.The weather department has said there are strong chances of a Ramadan moon sighting on March 22, (29 Shaban 1444).
The weather department has predicted that the Ramadan moon’s birth will take place on March 21 at 10:23 PM.
It has further said that in the event of the holy month of Ramadan of the complete 30 days, then it will conclude on April 21 (Friday) and Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated on Saturday, April 22, 2023.
Sources in the Ministry of Religious Affairs disclosed that there were chances that the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee’s meeting would be held in Islamabad under the chairmanship of Chairman Maulana Abdul Khabeer Azad.
Besides that, there will also be meetings of Zonal Ruet-e-Hilal Committees across the country.
And, the main committee will decide on the sighting of the moon in the light of eyewitness accounts from across the country.
