NAB retrieves important record from Ahad Cheema's laptop

LAHORE – An accountability court on Tuesday extended the remand of former Lahore Development Authority (LDA) director general Ahad Cheema and five others into the custody of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) till April 4.

The AC judge was conducting hearing against ex-LDA DG Ahad Cheema and five others incase related to Ashiana-e-Iqbal Housing scheme scam.

During the proceedings, the lawyer argued that Ahad Cheema was involved in corruption in Ashiana-e-Iqbal Housing scheme.

He claimed that huge record was retrieved from Cheema’s laptop and prayed the court to extend remand for interrogation into data obtained from his laptop.

The while extending the remand adjourned the hearing till April 4.
