Why Aitzaz Ahsan and Latif Khosa met CJP?

Senior lawyers Barrister Aitzaz Ahsan and Sardar Latif Khosa on Tuesday met with Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Umar Ata Bandial.
Sources told 24News TV channel that besides discussing prevailing situation of the country, the visitors requested the CJP to start hearing of the petition against the trial of civilians in military courts early.
Later talking to the media, Khosa said that he and Aitzaz had discussed early start to the hearing of their cases.
“Hopefully, the Supreme Court (SC) will start hearing of these cases early,” he added.
