KABUL - Afghanistan Military claims killing Taliban Military Commission Chief in ongoing counter terrorism operation.
The Afghan security forces have killed 25 Taliban militants during the ongoing operations in Faryab province, Khaama Press has reported.
The militants were killed in Ghormach district of Faryab, the Afghan military said Wednesday.
The 209th Shaheen Corps in a statement said the secuirty forces launched the operation in Qala-e-Wali area of Ghormach on Tuesday night.
The security forces also killed two senior commanders of Taliban including Mawlavi Haji Mullah, the military commission of Taliban.
The security forces also wounded 16 Taliban fighters during the operations, the 209th Shaheen Corps added.
