Japan assures to support Pakistan against illicit drug trafficking, terrorism July 20, 2020

ISLAMABAD-Japan has assured to continue supporting Pakistan’s fight against illicit drug trafficking and terrorism.
In a condolence message in Islamabad today (Monday), Japanese ambassador to Pakistan MATSUDA Kuninori strongly condemned the terrorist attack on officials of Anti-Narcotics Force two days ago in Mashkel district of Balochistan, which resulted in martyrdom of two officials and caused critical injuries to others.
The envoy said controlling illicit drug trafficking is a major and challenging issue for international community as it significantly damages the society and also provides financing to terrorist groups.
