Ram Nath Kovind becomes Indian President with two third majority

Ram Nath Kovind has been elected the new President of India.

He was the candidate of ruling NDA. He will take oath of his office on Tuesday.  

Ram Nath Kovind defeated opposition's candidate Meira Kumar. He won over two-thirds of the votes cast by an electoral college of MPs and state lawmakers.
