ISLAMABAD – The Hindu community on Wednesday staged a demonstration against the murder of 11 Pakistani Hindus in Jodhpur, India in August 2020.
The protesters gathered outside the Indian High Commission and chanted slogans against the gruesome murder of Pakistanis in India.
They demanded that India should provide the autopsy reports, FIR and other evidence of the incident. They said that India had neither given the investigation report nor documents for the last six months.
They held the Indian secret agency RAW responsible for the horrible incident. They separately submitted applications to the Indian High Commission and Foreign Ministry. They demanded fair investigations into the matter.
Addressing a delegation of Hindu community, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that Pakistan High Commission was providing all-possible role. "All-out efforts will be made to provide justice to the Hindu community," he added.
He said that minorities, including the Hindu community, enjoy complete freedom in the country. "However, minorities are not safe in neighbouring India. We have provided irrefutable evidence regarding Indian involvement in acts of terrorism in Pakistan. The true face of India stands exposed before the world," he added.
