BS graduates in Pakistan can take direct admission in PhD without MS or MPhil

Islamabad: Higher Education Commission (HEC) has issued a notification on Wednesday according to which students with 16 years of education can apply for admissions in PhD degree without enrolling themselves into MS or MPhil.
According to the new policy, students need to complete their PhD degree within three to eight years.
HEC has changed policies for graduate programs as well.
Students with Bachelor’s degrees can now easily apply for PhD directly without hindrance.
The new policy has came into effect from January 1, 2021.
