Judges boycott courts in Lahore after misbehavior of lawyers

LAHORE: Judges in the Lahore courts bycotted the courts after 3 lawyers misbehaved with an additional session Judge.
A hearing was held in the court of Additional District and Session Judge Irfan Anjum. It was about filing a case on Friday.
In the middle of hearing, three lawyers had a disagreement with the Additional Session Judge which resulted into bitterness. Lawyers were involved in misconduct with the judge.
The situation became out of hand when lawyers threw the files placed on rostrum away on the ground. The additional session judge reacted to this misconduct and suspended court’s proceedings.
Lahore Session Judge was made aware of the incident while all the other judges had boycotted court proceedings amid misbehavior by lawyers.
