Turkish Ambassador calls on Punjab Governor

LAHORE: Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar on Tuesday said that Turkey had always sided with Pakistan on political and diplomatic fronts like a solid rock.
During a meeting with Turkish Ambassador Ihsan Mustafa Yurdakul at the Governor’s House here, he said that Pakistan and Turkey were tied in historical brotherly relations, adding that Pak-Turkey relations would further strengthen in future.
“We take pride in our exemplary brotherly relations with Turkey”, he maintained.
Chaudhry Sarwar said that Turkey had always supported Pakistan in every hour of distress and people of Pakistan were proud of their friendship with Turkey.
He said ties between Turkey and Pakistan were touching new heights and social and trade friendship would further enhance in the coming days. Various matters of mutual interest and promotion of Pak-Turkey relations were discussed.
