PM Imran Khan approved key step in strategic economic partnership with Turkey

ISLAMABAD - Prime Minister Imran Khan has approved in principle the draft Strategic Economic Framework between Pakistan and Turkey.
He accorded the approval while chairing a meeting in Islamabad on Wednesday.
The Prime Minister directed for early finalization of the framework aiming at transforming the bilateral relations between the two countries into a broader growing strategic economic relationship.
He also directed relevant ministries to vigorously pursue this framework and put in place strong institutional arrangements for its implementation, once finalized.
Finance Minister informed the meeting that the structure will serve as overarching strategic policy framework integrating all facets of existing bilateral economic cooperation into a single platform.
