JRL unveils Indian acts forcing to youth to join armed struggle

In occupied Kashmir, the Joint Resistance Leadership while unveiling the brutal Indian acts carried out by its forces in the territory has said that pushing people to the wall is main reason behind the Kashmiri youth opting for the armed path.

In a joint statement in Srinagar, the leadership comprising Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik said mothers, fathers and even political leadership have no role in this regard however the ball lies in the court of Indian political and military leadership.

The leaders said aggressive policies of India and ban on political dissent are pushing Kashmiris to the wall and hence promoting worst kind of violence.

Meanwhile, Chairman Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai has said the Kashmir dispute can only be resolved by addressing it in its historical perspective.

In a statement in Srinagar, he said instead of taking measures to resolve long pending issue in its historical perspective, India wants to thrust its choice through barrel of gun.

Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai has strongly condemned the sedition charges against four Kashmiri female students studying in Jaipur and in other Indian states.
