ADB lauds different initiatives of BISP for women empowerment

ISLAMABAD:Asian Development Bank has appreciated different initiatives of Benazir Income Support Programme and acknowledged its efforts for graduating vulnerable women out of poverty.
Talking to Secretary BISP Omar Hamid Khan in Islamabad, Director General ADB Werner E. Liepach assured full support in this regard.
He said that the ADB has an agreement with BISP under which nearly three hundred ninety-six million dollars are being provided to ensure the social safety of most vulnerable women of Pakistan.APP
