LG polls in AJK soon: Haider

The Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Raja Farooq Haider Khan has said that local government elections would be held in the state soon to delegate powers to the people at grass root level.
He was presiding over a meeting of PML-N Districts Presidents and General Secretaries at Kashmir House in Islamabad on Tuesday.
He said development activities would be launched in consultation with communities keeping in view their requirements.
The meeting reviewed preparations for the next local government elections.
