National Security Advisor lauds KPK Government over NAP performance

Advisor to the Prime Minister on National Security Lt. General (Retd) Nasser Khan Janjua says the National Action Plan has helped in the elimination of terrorism from the country.
Addressing a meeting of apex committee in Peshawar today, he said the day is not far off when the country will be completely cleared from terrorists.
Nasser Khan Janjua said Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has been badly affected by terrorism but its valiant people successfully resisted the terrorists.
He lauded the role of the provincial government in achieving objectives of the National Action Plan.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak said peace has been restored in the province as a result of the operation Zarb-e-Azb and management of Pakistan-Afghanistan border.
He said there is complete harmony between the federation and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa about the National Action Plan.
Pervez Khattak said capacity of police force has been enhanced to deal with any emergency.
Participants of the meeting were briefed about progress on the National Action Plan.
