PM Shahbaz Sharif chairs first cabinet meeting in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD - The first cabinet meeting with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in the chair is in progress in Islamabad.
The meeting is being briefed about economic condition, energy & law and order situation in the country.
In a tweet, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb said the federal cabinet is being briefed on the economic disaster and unprecedented irresponsible fiscal acts of last four years under former Prime Minister Imran Khan.
She said inflation, poverty, unemployment, debt and deficits rose whilst GDP growth decreased during the PTI government. She said Imran Khan's term in office was marred by corruption.
