Rangers Power extension: Oil tankers association warning to Sindh govt

LASBELA: Senior Vice Chairman All Pakistan Oil Tankers Association Mir Shams Shahwani on Thursday criticized the Sindh government for curtailing the powers given to the paramilitary Rangers in the province.
In a statement issued here he said that if the provincial government does not issue a notification for an extension in the Ranger's powers, the association would stage protest against the Sindh government.
Shahwani added that the Rangers operation of the last three years, had yielded tremendous positive results, and has brought much needed peace to Karachi.
He warned of protest in next 72 hours, if the Sindh government failed to extend the rangers powers. (APP)
