MARDAN: Foreign hands involved in spreading terrorism in Pakistan: CM KPK

NOWSHERA: (APP) Chief Minister KPK, Pervez Khattak Wednesday said that thorough probe into Mardan blast had been started and the facts would be brought before the people as early as possible, adding security situation improved considerably as compared to the recent past.

Terrorists were now targeting soft targets after their hideouts had been destroyed in the ongoing operations in tribal areas and they were on the run, he said this while addressing workers convention and talking to media persons here.

War on terror was not yet over and it was progressing successfully, he said adding we were hopeful that peace would restore one day as operation Zarb e Azb had yielded extremely positive results to this effects.

All the state institutions were efficiently working against terrorism, he added.

RAW agent had been arrested in Baluchistan though no foreign spy had been apprehended in the KPK, however he maintained that foreign hands were involved in fanning terrorism in the province.

The federal government should take up the involvement of foreign spies at every forum, he added.
