ISLAMABAD – Lahore High Court Justice Aminuddin Khan has been elevated asJudge of Supreme Court of Pakistan, private media has reported.
Justice Aminuddin Khan of the Lahore High Court has been recommended to bemade judge of the Supreme Court at a meeting of the Judicial Commissionchaired by Chief Justice of Pakistan Asif Saeed Khosa.
According to details, the Judicial Commission meeting was chaired by theChief Justice of Pakistan. The meeting was attended by members of theJudicial Commission. The meeting was attended by senior Supreme CourtJustice Justice Gulzar Ahmed, Federal Minister for Law and Attorney GeneralMansoor Ahmed.
In the meeting, Justice Aminuddin Khan of Lahore High Court was recommendedto be made a judge of the Supreme Court. Justice Aminuddin Khan is fromMultan. He was appointed Judge High Court on May 12, 2011. JusticeAminuddin Khan is currently fifth on the Lahore High Court judges’ list.
