Former federal minister and senior leader of the People's Party, Khursheed Shah, praised Asif Zardari's stance in comparison to Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. Speaking on Geo News' program "Aaj Shahzeb Khanzada Ke Saath," Khursheed Shah said that Asif Zardari has tied up Bilawal Bhutto's hands.
He further stated that if the former president would let Bilawal free then PPP would be successful again like in the 1980s. The former federal minister also expressed that Asif Zardari's position is favorable, and he does not want to compete with the PML-N.
He noted that the current federal government is essentially the PML-N's, with some of their members in the present cabinet, and they didn't form the government in Punjab as they wished.
Khursheed Shah remarked that those belonging to the PML-N are their own, and complaints should be addressed within their party. He also mentioned Bilawal Bhutto Zardari's extraordinary statement regarding Maryam Nawaz's arrest.
Regarding Nawaz Sharif's return, Khursheed Shah expressed happiness and previously advocated for his return to the country. He mentioned that work is progressing well in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa but not in Sindh, where approved schemes are not being implemented. There have been changes in the bureaucracy in Sindh, but not in Punjab.
