In a positive development, huge gas reserves discovered in Pakistan

Good news in the field of national production of gas: Significant gas reserves have been discovered in Chak 1/214, an exploratory well located in the Rahim Yar Khan district of Punjab.

According to a spokesperson from Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL), the company achieved a depth of 1851 meters in the well on June 29, 2023, and obtained a daily production of 1.1 million cubic feet of gas in the Dungan Formation.
