KABUL - United States Military carries out drone strike in Nangarhar near Pak Afghan border against Daesh terrorists, conflicting reports about the number of casualties have been made.
15 people were killed and six wounded by a drone strike in the Khoghyani district of Nangarhar province, Afghan authorities have claimed. Members of the Provincial Council said the number was 35 killed, TOLO News has reported.
The strike took place in the Wazir Tangi area of the district, police officials said, “while farmers were harvesting peanuts.”
A spokesman for USFOR-A (US forces in Afghanistan) Colonel Sonny Leggett, stated that US forces conducted a precision strike against Daesh terrorists in Nangarhar early Thursday morning.
