South Waziristan IDPs repatriation begins

ISLAMABAD (APP): The 14th phase of repatriation of internally displaced persons (IDPs) of South Waziristan Agency was started on Monday.
According to Radio Pakistan, administration said an office has been established in Khargai area of Tank to facilitate the return of IDPs.

It said 13,000 families of Ladha and Makeen tehsils will return to their native areas in this phase. It said every returning family will get Rs10,000 transportation charges and Rs 25,000 financial assistance through ATMs.
The administration said the 14th phase of repatriation will continue till 15 October.
According to Political Agent Kamran Afridi, about 441 registered families of Peerano Ziarat Killi and Khushali Tori Khel tribes would be sent to their homes.
