UN Secretary General remarks over Pakistan outgoing Ambassador Maleeha Lodhi are stunning

NEW YORK – UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres has said that former Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Dr Maleeha Lodhi had played a key role in improving the credibility of Pakistan through her performance and experience.
“Maleeha presented the Pakistani stance on each topic and forum,” he said,
During her farewell meeting, she apprised UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres of the latest situation in Occupied Kashmir. “Pakistan always talks about resolving the problems through dialogues and peaceful way,” he said.
She said that Prime Minister Imran Khan is playing his role to end tension between Saudi Arabia and Iran.
Dr Maleeha Lodhi also exchanged views about the Afghan peace talks.
She thanked the UN secretary general for his statement of August 8 and subsequently on the situation in Indian Occupied Kashmir. She also thanked the UN Secretary General for close cooperation that the Pakistan Mission in New York had with him and his office during her tenure.
