PM Imran Khan successfully seek crucial support of Ulema and Scholars for concept of Islamic welfare state

ISLAMABAD - Prime Minister Imran Khan says Government is committed to create uniformity and harmony in dealing with the problems facing the country, especially in education.
Talking to a delegation of Ulema and scholars in Islamabad on Friday, he said the different systems and curricula in the field of education leads to division and misunderstandings in different sections of society.
Imran Khan said there is a need for reform of the education system and cooperation of scholars is of utmost importance in this regard.
He said making Pakistan an Islamic welfare state on the pattern of state of Madinah is his longstanding desire. The Prime Minister said he will continue to do everything he can to make the country an Islamic welfare state.
Imran Khan said the government is introducing tax reforms to improve the country's economy and Islamic Ideology Council and Ulema should give their suggestions in this regard in the light of Quraan and Sunnah.
