Yuvraj Singh booked in domestic violence case by sister in law

MUMBAI – India cricketer Yuvraj Singh is in trouble off the field as his sister-in-law, Akanksha Sharma, has accused him and his family of domestic violence, and lodged a case against them.

Akanksha Sharma, who appeared in Big Boss 10, has claimed that her husband Zoravar and mother-in-law Shabnam committed domestic violence against her, and Yuvraj was also a part of it.

The ex-sister-in-law of the all-rounder said that she would speak about the subject during the case’s first hearing on October 21.

Akanksha’s lawyer Swati Singh Malik confirmed the news saying, “Yes, Akanksha has filed a case of domestic violence against Yuvraj, her husband Zoravar and their mother Shabnam.”

Talking about Yuvraj’s involvement in the ‘domestic violence’ case, Swati Singh Malik said, “Look, domestic violence does not mean just physical violence. It also means mental and financial torture, which can be attributed to Yuvraj.”

Malik said, “Yuvraj was a mute spectator to the suffering caused to my client by Zoravar and his mother.”

“When Yuvraj and Zoravar’s mother was pressurizing Akanksha to have a baby, Yuvraj too had joined in to do the same. He too told Akanksha ‘to have a baby’. He was hand-in-glove with his mother,” she commented.
