Lahore Ring road Southern Loop-I,II inauguration announced

LAHORE: Commissioner Lahore division Abdullah Khan Sunbal on Wednesday said that construction work of Ring Road Southern Loop-1 and Southern Loop-2 would be completed in last week of November 2017.
Reviewing construction work of Ring Road Authority Office here at Gajumatta, the commissioner said that construction work at Ring Road Southern Loop-1 and 2, Kamahan, Gajumata to Adda Plot Raiwind was near to completion, after which the best travel facilities would be available to the people.
He said that the completion of construction work at Ring Road would help in traffic management system in the city, adding that 90 percent work of Southern Loop-1 and Southern Loop-2 had been completed.
During the visit, the commissioner was briefed that 75 percent work of 22.35 kilometer long Southern Loop had been completed, whereas 15 bridges and six interchanges were being constructed at Southern Loop.
The work of pedestrian way and installation of fiber optics at Northern Loop has been almost completed, said in the briefing.
