KPK Government raises pay of Nurses manifold

ISLAMABAD (APP): Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has announced four times increase in the monthly stipend of student nurses.

According to a private news channel, student nurses serving in government hospitals will draw Rs20,000 monthly stipend as compared to their earlier monthly stipend of Rs5000.
The student nurses said it would help them overcome their expenses and to perform duties satisfactorily.

It merits a mention here that it was the longstanding demand of the nurses. They had been demanding of the government to raise their stipend.
