US makes key assistances to the new Pakistani government

The United States has assured full cooperation in managing the troubled Pakistani economy.
A State Department spokesman said the United States would continue to work bilaterally on ways to increase investment and trade opportunities to build a prosperous and stable Pakistan.
The spokesman said that the United States also welcomes the ongoing talks with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) of Pakistan.
The State Department spokesman also confirmed a one-on-one meeting between US Secretary of State Anthony Blankenship and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
