China takes a firm stance over US unilateral sanctions against Iran

BEIJING - China has expressed hope for the full implementation of the Iran nuclear deal.
These views were expressed by Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister, Wang Yi while meeting with visiting Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif.
Wang said China firmly opposes unilateral sanctions and the so-called 'long-arm jurisdiction' imposed by United States on Iran.
Wang pledged to maintain Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action and safeguard the authority of United Nations and basic norms governing international relations.
