Indian spy Kulbhushan Yadav appeal time period lapses

ISLAMABAD: Indian RAW agent Kulbhushan Yadav who was granted death sentence by the Pakistan Military Court on the charges of spying and espionage has not filed appeal against his conviction up till now.
It is pertinent to mention here that the time period for the appeal lapses today.
Deadline for Indian spy Kulbhushan Jadhav to file an appeal against his death sentence, which was awarded by an military court, is ending today (Friday).
Jadhav, whose execution has been suspended recently by International Court of Justice (ICJ), can move the Supreme Court of Pakistan against the decision or file an appeal to President Mamnoon Hussain and Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa.
The ICJ also directed that consular should be given access to Kulbhushan Jadhav under Vienna Convention.
Jadhav was arrested on March 3, 2016, through a counter-intelligence operation in Balochistan’s Mashkel area for his involvement in espionage and sabotage activities against Pakistan.
Soon after his arrest, Pakistan Army released a video in which he was shown confessing to his involvement in spying for Indian agency RAW.
