Interior Minister expresses concerns over F-16 matter with US officials

ISLAMABAD: US Special Representative for Pakistan and Afghanistan Richard Olson along with US envoy David Hale called on Interior Minister Ch. Nisar here at today in Islamabad and discussed regional security issues.
As per details, US envoy and Special Representative exchanged views with Interior Minister Ch. Nisar over the matters of mutual interest as well as regional security situation also came under discussion in the meeting.
Speaking at the occasion, Ch. Nisar expressed his concerns over the funding of F-16 aircrafts by USA saying that Pakistan stance and integrity should be considered by US administration.
Special Representative Richard Olson pointed out that US government want to further enhance its relations with Pakistani government despite issues between two countries.
Talking about the Afghanistan security situation, Richard Olson appreciated the efforts of Pakistan in the Afghan peace process.
