Legendary fast bowler, Dale Steyn, has raised question marks recently over the South African team’s decision to leave out a number of senior players for the upcoming T20I matches against Pakistan.

Money is making all the moves in cricket these days and a few netizens have pointed out that the Indian Premier League is a vital ‘warm-up session’ for the T20 World Cup, which is scheduled to be held in India between October and November this year. ------------------------------

Cricket South Africa recently circulated a press release, mentioning that players who have been awarded Indian Premier League (IPL) contracts by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) can leave early for the cash-rich tournament.

In this regard, big names such as Quinton de Kock, David Miller, Faf du Plessis, and Kagiso Rabada will reportedly miss the action against Pakistan as Temba Bavuma has been appointed as the Proteas captain against Pakistan.
