Islam is a religion of peace: PM Modi
NEW DELHI: India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi claimed that Islam is a religion of peace during his participation in International Sufi Conference.

He claimed that Sufism is a voice of peace and 99 names of Allah don’t stand for violence.

He said “Sufism is the voice of peace, co-existence, compassion, equality and a call to universal brotherhood.”

He claimed that terrorism has no religion, they uses diverse motivation and causes that cannot be justified.

Modi claimed that terrorists destroy their land and kill their own people without any reason.

He said “Those who spread terror in the name of religion are anti-religious. The fight against terrorism is not a confrontation against any religion. It cannot be. It is a struggle between the values of humanism and the forces of inhumanity.”

Modi appreciated Sufism and claimed that it has a huge contribution in Indian poetry and development of Indian music.

Modi claimed that all nations have to take a mutual stance to root out terrorism from the world.
