2,393 Pakistanis are in Saudi jails; Parliament informed
ISLAMABAD: Advisor to PM Nawaz on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz informed National Assembly that approximately 2400 Pakistanis are present in different jails of Saudi Arabia.

 

As per details, while putting the figures of Pakistanis prisoners in Saudi jails on assembly floor he told that 2, 393 Pakistanis are spending their lives in Saudi jails over different charges.

 

Sartaj Aziz further revealed that there are 439 Pakistanis who are detained in Indian jails while 207 Pakistanis are detained in Afghanistan.

 

While responding a query of JUI-F Naeema Kishwar Khan about the detention of Pakistanis in foreign countries' jails Sartaj further stated that there are 601 and 336 Pakistanis prisoners are present in Oman and Malaysian jails respectively while government is making all its possible efforts for their repatriation.

 

Pakistani prisoners are facing the drugs, murders, sexual offences charges in different jails of Saudi Arabia and other countries. Sartaj pointed out.
