Iran will not extend 60-day deadline to pull out of some key commitments under nuclear deal

Iran says it will not extend the 60-day deadline to pull out of some key commitments under the nuclear deal.

In a statement Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization said, the second phase will be implemented exactly as planned for Tehran, after expiry of the deadline to remain signatory of the deal.

Iran stopped complying in May with some commitments in the 2015 nuclear deal that was agreed with global powers, after the United States unilaterally withdrew from the accord in 2018 and re-introduced sanctions on Tehran.
