Afghan security forces arrest 30 militants in southern Afghanistan

KABUL: In Afghanistan, security forces have arrested 30 militants during week-long clearance operations in various parts of the Kandahar province.
Governor Hayatullah Hayat said, the arrested militants were involved in series of subversive activities including attacks on military convoys, security checkpoints and targeting government officials.
