Lavrov, Pompeo discuss Syria, issues of Korean peninsula

MOSCOW: Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo telephonically discussed Syria and issues of Korean peninsula.
In a statement, Russian Foreign ministry said Pompeo and Lavrov also discussed the US-Russia relationship.
US State Department said in a statement that Pompeo reemphasized US commitment to southwest ceasefire arrangement that was approved by President Trump and President Putin a year ago.
