Sindh government allocates huge land to 18 international companies for solar powered projects

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has approved the allotment of over six thousand seven hundred acres land for establishing solar powered energy projects, to eighteen national and multinational companies.
A spokesman of Sindh government told Radio Pakistan that the land will be allotted to fourteen companies in Thatta, Sukkur, Jamshoro, Shaheed Benazirabad and Dadu districts for producing five hundred MW electricity through solar energy.
He further said the matter of allotment of land to another four companies was in process and will be finalized soon.
