Deputy Chairman Senate Saleem Mandiwala lands in yet another trouble

ISLAMABAD – The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) nominated Senate Deputy Chairman Saleem Mandviwala in the Kidney Hills plots allotment case on Tuesday.
Mandviwala faces the charge of facilitating Ijaz Haroon in selling state-owned plots to Abdul Ghani Majeed.
According to the NAB, Ijaz Haroon had received huge amounts in exchange for allotments. He prepared the back-date files of the plots. Saleem Mandviwala purchased a 'benami' plot through the received money. He purchased 'benami' shares in the name of a front man after selling this plot.
Saleem Mandviwala and Ijaz Haroon received Rs 140 million through fake accounts. Saleem Mandviwala and Nadeem Mandviwala had purchased shares of Mangla View Company through this amount in the name of 'benami' Tariq Mahmood.
In the reference, Nadeem Mandviwala, Ijaz Haroon, Andul Ghani Majeed and Tariq Mahmood have been nominated.
