Over 3000 policemen performed duties during visit of Crown Prince

ISLAMABAD: More than 3000 policemen of Islamabad performed duties during two-day visit of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to Pakistan and ensured foolproof security arrangements along with other law enforcement agencies.

Police said that security checkpoints were established on the roads while checking at all entry points of the federal capital was enhanced. Most areas in the immediate vicinity of the Red Zone remained closed while law enforcement agencies put in place deployments all along the twin cities.

The traffic was managed according to the plan issued by the traffic police. Entry of heavy traffic was not allowed at specific times while small vehicles were allowed to move on alternative routes. Traffic policemen remained present on alternative routes to guide the road users who also lauded arrangements to facilitate them.

Local holiday was also announced by the District Magistrate Islamabad to avoid any inconvenience to citizens.
