KARACHI: Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) will facilitate the passengers of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) by revising its flight schedule upon resumption of night operation in Peshawar.
The night flying was discontinued four years ago due to aviation safety concerns, a press release said on Tuesday.
President and CEO of national flag carrier Air Marshal Arshad Malik thanked the Minister for Aviation Muhammad Mian Soomro for his prompt action and vigorous efforts in resolving the matter with all concerned quarters especially the security agencies for lifting the restrictions.
The issue was highlighted to minister for aviation during his visit to PIA head office last Friday.
After removal of the restriction, PIA will revise its flight schedule for Peshawar adding more flights for the convenience of KPK public as they were facing difficulties in connectivity.
