ADB assures to continue providing financial assistance to Pakistan

Asian Development Bank has assured Pakistan to continue to provide its financial and technical expertise in all areas including energy sector.
The assurance was reiterated by the country director of the Bank for Pakistan Xiaohong Yang who called on Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi in Islamabad on Tuesday.
She appreciated the progress which Pakistan made for overcoming energy deficit by producing surplus generation. The Country Director of the Asian Development Bank also noted robust economic growth which she projected to reach five point eight percent during the next financial year.
She lauded structure reforms undertaken by the government and enhanced revenue generation.
Prime Minister on this occasion thanked ADB for continued support to infrastructure projects.
